Bad Credit Refinance Explained
When you are looking to refinance you must take into account your credit history, and
ensure any quotes you receive have taken this into account so you can correctly decide
which is the best. Rates advertised by lenders in press adverts etc may not
be the rates you would actually receive.
It is often the case that bad credit refinance loans, and most other loans, will have a
higher rate for borrowers with bad credit. If your credit record has worsened since
your original house purchase loan you may not make any savings by refinancing.
The only way to be sure you are receiving the lowest refinance rate available if you
have a bad credit history is to make this known to the lenders when you are researching
them and ensure you have the rates to compare which YOU would actually receive, not
someone with an unblemished record.
