Foreclosures: Real Estate Auction Sales
At this stage the courts themselves are auctioning the property to an assembled group of
potential buyers consisting of Lenders and other private investors. To compete in this
process you would need to research the property as much as possible before the auction.
The advantage of buying at auction is that the price paid
for the property will be the maximum bid, not a value negotiated between a buyer and a seller as
in the Pre-Foreclosure stage. For this reason it is possible to make a larger profit, 35% - 50%
on the market value.
